1.Tell us about yourself. Where do you live? What are you studying / working? What inspires you?
I live in Bucharest the capital of Romania, the place where i was born. Also here i study at the Academy of Economic Studies, second year and as a part time job i'm a model/hostess.
Inspiration for me, comes from everything around me, even if we talk about fashion shows, fashion magazines, caltwalks or just about weather, mood, music... I think that all we have to do is to be open minded and the inspiration will be so easy to be found.
2.What is your fashion for you?
And since i'm talking about things that inspires me is imposible not to say that Fashion is my biggest passion. I love the attention and the way each person take care of the way he/she looks by following some trends and "rules" and i find it very disciplinad but also messy and original industry.
3.How would you describe your own style?
Even if most of the time i love to wear casual chic and feminine looks, i also like to add different influences like masculines, bohemian or rock... but i always keep my basic style and i add just a touch of something else and transformit it in order to fit my style and to feel confortable wearing it.
4.What kind of compilation is the perfect dress?
When i think at Lanvin, i see the perfect dress. Soft and fluid matterials plus elegance and femininity.
5.What was your opinion of the best and worst past or current fashion trends?
I don't like to talk about worst things because each designer or person has its own vision. And when they make a collection they try to impress and to come up with something unique and unseen. In this "fight" they tend sometimes to exaggerate but there will always be someone to wear each piece of their collections. Is important to take the basic idea in order to follow the trends but to make it fit your own style and personality and not to copy 100%.
But about the trends i like, well is a pleasure to talk about. This summer was an explosion of collors and everybody tried to come with some original and shoking color combinations and they really succed it. This fall the wonderful thing is that the trend will continue but of course with wiser colors. The neon yellow is transformed in mustard, red in burgundy and so on. Also i loved the stilletos and i love their transformation in think heels. Summarily we will still have colors and leather and high heels but are reinterpreted and perfect for fall.
6.A variety of clothing is included in your trendster portfolio. Have you ever wondered to fashion designer learn at school?
In my wardrobe can be found different brands but also clothes make by me with some help of course. And to aswer to your question, i say yes, i was thinking a few years ago and i'm still thinking but i don't know if i will follow a school with this speciality. But maybe in the future i will have the opportunity to collaborate with someone and to make a collection inspired by me and my ideas.
7.What is your favorite photos that you uploaded on trendster? What is your favorite photos that other uploaded on trendster?
The "hair bow" is still my favorite picture from my portfolio. And I don't really have a favorite picture of someone else, but just because in this community are many girls that upload inspiring pictures :).
8.Who is your favorite fashion designer? Why?
I don't have only one favorite fashion designer so i will have to say: Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, Desquered, Chanel, Louboutin, Rick Owens, Lanvin, Dior, Louis Vuiton, Marc Jacob, Balenciaga...etc etc
9.Which way do you like best buy? What is your favorite store?
Untill now i've never tried online shopping. I don't know why i'm "scared" and i prefer to go directly to the store. And about favorite stores, for the moment i can not afford designers clothes and stores, and because of this Zara, H&M and some others brands like these two are most common in my wardrobe, as i said, for the moment.
10.What is your dream job?
Well this is a hard question because i hope i will be a business woman but also i would like to work in the fashion industry.
11.You have a fashion blog. Write a few things about it. What advice can you give others who are thinking to start writing own blog?
I've started my blog simply because i've had a lot of free time and i didn't though at that time, that i will be appreciated for my style and for my work. I try to post as often as posible and to offer as many details as posible because is very important to help those who read the blog to be informed and not to put them wait to much between posts because they will loose their interest. Of course i post my outfits and some special moments in my day to day life, and also i write about the things i've done that day.
As advice:
You have to invest and to have inspiration. As about my investments well i hope that soon i will succed in buying a new and better camera because quality pictures are better appreciated and can provide more details.
Also you have to promote your blog through sites like Trendster. And the last but not least to post as often as possible.
