1.Tell us about yourself. Where do you live? What are you studying / working? What inspires you?
My name is Jana, I'm 19 years old and I live in Germany. This year I graduated from high school with "Abitur" (I think in English it is called university entrance certificate?) Next year I would like to study psychology in the Netherlands and in the meantime I want to gain some practical work experience.
I think everything inspires me, for example people on the streets or sometimes my friends. I love the American television series "Gossip Girl" and I think you can find so many beautiful outfit inspirations there, mostyl in connection with the characters of Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen. I also like to read fashion magazines or fashion blogs and sometimes I surf on Internet platforms like "weheartit" to get new inspirations for me and my blog (dreamseverybodyhasthem.blogspot.com).
2.What do you love about living in NRW?
I've never lived somewhere else and so I can't really compare living in NRW with living somewhere else. But one thing I like about living in NRW is that it offers a lot of shopping facilities in big cities, that are located close to each other and easy to reach. On the other hand NRW offers many quiet spots in the nature, so you can get the right mix of modern lifestyle and relaxion. And of course I love the nightlife.
3.How do you describe the fashion scene in NRW?
This is a difficult question and actually I've no idea how I could describe it. Sorry (:
4.How would you describe your own style?
I think my own style is very feminine and modern with a touch of vintage. I like to wear dresses and high heels, colours like red, white, black and gold and pretty accessories. But in the end it is always difficult for me to describe myself, so everyone should make his or her own conclusion about it.
5.Favorite designers?
Actually I have no favorite designers, but I love the Vera Wang wedding dresses and maybe one day...
6.What is the first thing you look at in another person's outfit? Why?
The first thing I look at in another person's outfit are shoes. I think I look at them because like almost every woman. I'm addicted to shoes. :D
7.What is your favorite photo that you uploaded on trendster? What is your favorite photo that other uploaded on trendster?
My favorite photo I uploaded on trendster is my Halloween-Look. I was really proud of me because I "created" it within a few minutes (: My favorite photo that another person uploaded on trendster is hair bow by Manuella. It looks so cute. (:
8.Which way do you like best buy? What is your favorite store?
It depends... but mostly I buy at H&M, Zara and Primark stores, because they're my favorite ones.
9.What kind of compilation is the perfect winter dress?
I think the perfect winter dress is comfy and pretty at the same time. Even though it is cold outside I like to wear summer clothes and bright colours like red or gold and with nice tights and a pretty coat it is of course possible to wear them but nevertheless a cuddly scarf and gloves should not be forgotten.
10.What are your favorite fashion brand? Why?
I've no favorite fashion brand. I usually just buy what appeals to me. (:
11.You have a fashion blog. Write a few things about it. What advice can you give others who are thinking to start writing own blog?
I started blogging 2 years ago and at the beginning I was a little bit anxious, because at this time blogs weren't as popular as they are today. Also I had no camera, I took photos with my phone and they had a really bad quality. Another point was the content of my posts. I wrote about everything, even though it was not interesting for other people. I think this was one reason why my readership was very small during the first month and even at the beginning of the first year. But then I read more and more other blogs which were really successful and I wondered about the things I could change - the whole layout, my texts, a new camera, photo-locations etc. and as time went by my readership grew. (:
Others who are thinking to start writing a blog should clearly think about the things they want to write about. Avoid unnecessary texts, if you have an uninspired day - no problem, just take a break because it isn't good to force something. To get new inspirations you can visit internet platforms like "weheartit" or read some blogs, but stay you and don't fake anyone. Don't write about conflicts (for example arguments with your boy or girlfriend) or people in your surrounding. If you want to write about it, do it in a good literary way without any names or insults etc. Always try to put good photos in your posts, that will make them more attractive. (: Show your face. I had to learn that nearly everyone likes it, when you know the person behind the blog. (: Don't be disappointed if your readership grows slowly, sometimes success needs some time . But the most important advice I can give to you is that you should have fun, always remain as well as you are and don't let negative comments get you down. (: You don't have to own expensive designer clother or the best camera ever, just show the world that your are a creative person who enjoys his or her "job" and who tries to be as professional as possible with a lot of fun.
