1.Tell us about yourself. Where do you live? What are you studying / working? What inspires you?
I am a 24 year old girl from Sofia, Bulgaria. I just finished my 5 years in Law School at Sofia University and right now I’m preparing for my final exams, which will take place during the next 3 months. After that I will get my Masters Degree in Law. Also I’ve been working as an intern at a law firm for 2 years now.
What inspires me in terms of fashion is everything around me – from random people on the streets, through fashion magazines, movies and of course – my favorite bloggers.
2.What is your fashion for you?
I have always been mesmerized by the magic of the fashion world. For me fashion is a way of expressing myself, of connecting with others who feel the same way. Fashion is a way of life and to me it is something that simply makes me feel happy.
3.How would you describe your own style?
If I had to describe my own style in several words they would be: romantic, girly at times, chic and simple.
4.What kind of compilation is the perfect dress?
The perfect dress would be strapless/one-shoulder, mid-thigh length, with full skirt. The color would be peach, any kind of beige, black or white.
5.What was your opinion of the best and worst past or current fashion trends?
From what I’ve been seeing on the shows for the Spring/Summer 2012 collections, my favorite trends definitely are the shiny and metallic fabrics (Marc Jacobs, Christopher Kane), the embellishments (Christopher Kane, Matthew Williamson) and also the pastel colors (Diane Von Furstenberg).
The worst fashion trend in all time, in my opinion, is the platform sneakers and flip flops – they are a disaster!
6.A variety of clothing is included in your trendster portfolio. Have you ever wondered to fashion designer learn at school?
Back when I was in high school I used to consider the possibility to study fashion design, but the truth is that I’m not good in drawing at all. Right now I’m thinking of taking some fashion related courses, after I’m done with the Law, but it is all really vague and nothing is set in stone yet.
7.What is your favorite photos that you uploaded on trendster? What is your favorite photos that other uploaded on trendster?
Well, my favorite photos would be the Lady Danger and the Details photos.
As for the rest of the Trendster community – I really like the photos of Manuella from Bucharest – really sweet and romantic style.
8.Who is your favorite fashion designer? Why?
There are a lot of designers that I like, but if I was to choose only one it would definitely be Marc Jacobs. My love to his designs appeared a few years ago when I used to live like, across the street from one of his stores in Massachusetts . I remember visiting the store almost every day and thinking “If only I could buy every single piece of clothing here”. His designs are so youthful, full of color, chic and at the same time crazy, edgy and somehow “summery”.
9.Which way do you like best buy? What is your favorite store?
I have to say that both online shopping and the regular shopping are appealing to me. Online shopping is great, because it’s really quick, simplified, and easy and you can always find what you are looking for online. On the other hand, I would never give up on my regular visits in the my favorite stores – the advantage of being able to see and feel the material of the garments, to try different things on, to see if they really look good on you, is irreplaceable. In reality, I divide my online and regular shopping equally.
My favorite stores are Zara and Topshop.
10.What is your dream job?
My dream job would be working for Vogue or Elle magazine, or in the law department of a famous brand.
11.You have a fashion blog. Write a few things about it. What advice can you give others who are thinking to start writing own blog?
My blog is quite new – I started it in May 2011. If you are wondering why I chose such a strange name, you can read the blog’s name story in the “About” section on my blog. I started my blog because of my boyfriend who is always pushing me to do the things I love and feel happy about it, no matter what the results are. For that I’m really grateful to him, because blogging makes me really happy and I hope I will get better and better with time.
The advice I would give to everyone who wants to start a personal blog would be: Do it for you, not for any results that may or may not come. Write about whatever you like and makes you happy. Don’t give up!
